We Did It!

John and I got our fingerprints taken for immigration!  Praise the Lord!  Our appointment isn't until March 13th, and when I called to ask if we could come in early the person on the phone said no.  Still John and I took a leap of faith and drove to the USCIS office to try and get fingerprinted anyway.  The worst that would happen is they would turn us away and tell us to come back on the 13th.  But that didn't happen.  They accepted us without an appointment and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes!

Immigration approval is usually the longest part of the adoption paperwork and we are one step closer to getting it!  Woo-hoo!

Thank you for everyone who continues to give with their hearts.  Little by little we are getting closer to having all the funds needed to rescue Doyle and Fischer from the baby house!   We feel incredibly blessed  knowing that you are all on this journey with us.

  2. YAY!!! I'm so happy for you guys that this is coming along nicely. I cannot imagine the waiting process. It is true that every time you come to mind (or any thought of orphan, adoption, etc.) I pray for you and your family in this process. Thanks for allowing us to see into your world.
