Looking Brighter!

We got the docs!  Court should be Friday.  In order for John to fly home this weekend he needs to visit the Embassy.  He is on a train to Kiev tonight so that he can do his visit tomorrow rather than waiting till Monday.  We have lots of videos that I will load this evening.  Stay tuned!

  2. I am so excited for you. I stopped awhile ago in praying for very specific things regarding our adoptions as far as the process goes. I find that for me, praying for patience is key. I liked how the commenter yesterday brought up interesting scenarios such as "maybe that train wasn't meant for you..maybe it would crash..meet bad people"....

I prayed and prayed for our most recent addition to be added to our family in His time. That was hard. We do voluntary domestic adoptions and have to wait to get picked by a birthmother. Well, when I switched my prayers to patience rather than "please Bless us soon with a baby quickly" things happened alot quicker. We turned in our profile and last of paperwork on a Friday and 9 days later (on a Sunday afternoon) we were called with great news that a baby boy had been born and how quick could we get to MO...

All our family was vacationing in Fla....so we loaded all 3 littles and took a road trip....

Anyhow I guess what I mean is we can get really caught up in the tiny details of the process like things getting signed and court dates..all VERY frustrating and heart breaking ..yet just tiny blips once the process is complete(court).

At least you are not at home waiting for what seemed like an eternity for someone to go and get the birth moms parental rights terminated. i mean it was voluntary and all....that was STRESS...knowing she could change her mind at any time because the legal ladies were being way to coddling with this wonderful woman.

    Praying for you.

  4. I'm so happy!!! Things are really starting to move. I will not stop praying for your family, until you get the boys home and settled in. I will also pray for quiet, happy flights to America!
